Co-Founder & CEO
Cristina Imperial Carl is known for inspiring innovation in her role as CEO at Ediphi. A Yale University graduate and Filipino native, Cristina pursued her obsession with all things food and wine at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City. Her own path provided Cristina with valuable insight into the immigrant’s journey, and it directly informs her passion for advancing equity in training, education and career development. As CEO, Cristina is dedicated to finding new ways for Ediphi to harness the power of technology, and to ensuring her team members feel seen and recognized for their contributions.
In hospitality, Cristina has traveled the ranks of culinary, Food & Beverage, and Rooms, providing her with a holistic understanding of the needs of employer and employee alike. She began her career in Food and Beverage as an intern at Chicama in New York City, and continued in the field with HYATT Hotels and Starwood, where she served as food and beverage manager. Cristina managed boutique hotel Chateau Cervantes in Puerto Rico, served as president of Icon Superior Foods in the Philippines and co-owned Grind Bistro in Manila. Cristina is certified at the advanced level with the Court of Master Sommeliers. A dedicated volunteer, she’s devoted herself to community service for more than two decades.
